This neoclassical train station is the departure point for the city’s iconic tram ride. Its original architectural features have been preserved, including the central clock tower and vintage rail cars with wooden benches and paneling. Built in 1867 and designed by English architects, it is one of the only stations in Brazil built with a structure suited for snowy weather.
