Completed in 1933, the cathedral was built with the help of local Japanese settlers. Its symmetrical neoclassical façade features a central bell tower, a triangular pediment, pilasters, and arched windows. A statue of St. Francis Xavier stands above the main entrance, reinforcing the building’s religious and historical identity.
