The museum occupies a handsome 1929 building, which stands as an important landmark of the city’s collective memory and is listed as a protected heritage site by CONDEPHAAT. Its symmetrical façade combines eclectic design with classical detailing, including arched windows and an ornamental parapet. Original red tile floors and exposed timber roof trusses remain intact inside, while a restored railway car houses the Casa dos Artesãos (Artisans’ House). The museum’s collection of photographs, documents, machinery, and historical artifacts traces the evolution of Presidente Prudente from its earliest days.
