Built in 1895 and partially demolished in 1997, the site is dedicated to Martim Afonso de Sousa, founder of Vila de São Vicente. It houses the city’s Documentation and Memory Center and the Bacharel Archaeological Site. At the rear of the property, a preserved historic wall dating back to the early 16th century remains, along with archaeological artifacts recovered from local excavations.
