Following the restoration of the former Carlos Gomes Theater, the cultural center opened in 2020. The venue houses multiple cultural spaces, featuring a main theater with seating for over 270 people, an arena with seating for roughly one hundred spectators, as well as exhibition halls, art galleries, and workshop rooms. The façade, with its symmetrical, neoclassical design, preserves the grandeur and historical value of the original building.
