This century-old Sanctuary of Saint Rita of Cascia, whose construction dates back to 1913, is a striking example of neo-Gothic architecture. Its features include elegant pointed arches and a bell tower that still rings with the original bells. Stepping inside, visitors are greeted by a spacious central nave, where French stained-glass windows depict revered religious figures and virtues, beautifully complemented by paintings and frescoes. Outside, a compelling mural by Djanira vividly portrays the life of the saint. The sanctuary also houses a unique simulacrum: a lifelike replica of the body of Saint Rita holding a grapevine.
