Built in the 1970s, the building’s corrugated metal façade gives it a strikingly contemporary look. This contrasts beautifully with the surrounding gardens, lake, and wooden bridges, which also lend it a distinctly rural atmosphere. The auditorium has a bold visual identity with black chairs and a yellow ceiling, and its entrance is styled like a classic movie theater. The museum’s collection, which is dedicated to the life and career of filmmaker Amácio Mazzaropi, features over twenty thousand items, ranging from film cameras, posters, costumes, and original furniture to a full-scale brick set house and a vintage bowling alley.
