Built in 1881 on the banks of the Piracicaba River, this architectural complex grew to become one of Brazil’s largest sugar mills, operating until 1974. Its industrial architecture—with striking exposed-brick ruins, cobblestone paths, tiled walls, and large windows—evokes the height of its productive years. Surrounded by lush native vegetation, the site offers a unique atmosphere where history and nature come together.
