Built in the early 20th century, its striking façade features beautiful ornate pediments over its large windows and grand double staircase entrance, echoing the architectural splendor of its time. Commissioned by Dom Lúcio Antunes de Souza, the first bishop of the Diocese of Botucatu, it formerly housed the Seminário Arquidiocesano São José (São José Archdiocese Seminary).
