Located in the Centro de Atenção Integral à Saúde de Santa Rita, or Santa Rita Healthcare Center, the complex occupies several abandoned warehouses where relics from its past as a psychiatric hospital are preserved. Its collection of approximately two thousand items features equipment, furniture, clinical instruments, vinyl records, books, and artwork by former patients. Though worn out, the original blue paint still clings to the aged walls. Visitors can still see spaces like the chapel, the wake room, the solitary confinement cell, and the shock-treatment rooms in their original state.
