Built in 1885, the headquarters of the Associação dos Cafeicultores, or Coffee Growers’ Association, is a prime example of coffee-boom-era architecture. Surrounded by lush vegetation, the building features symmetrical wooden windows and doors, solid structures, and traditional clay-tile roofs. The grounds include an old charcoal house, and the interior still contains its original period furniture.
