Built between 1897 and 1901 during the expansion of the São Paulo Railway, this house originally served as living quarters for railway workers. Its design combines orange brick with wood, lending the building a rustic feel. The walls, floors, ceilings, and window frames are made almost entirely from Riga pine, a European wood imported from the Baltic region. Now restored, the house functions as a museum, showcasing furniture, utensils, and scenes from the daily life of the railway community.
