The Government of São Paulo, through the Department of Culture, Economy and Creative Industries, has opened applications for new audiovisual grants totaling R$47.5 million under ProAC. This round places a strong focus on feature films. Projects that shoot at least 70% of their scenes in micro-regions listed by the São Paulo State Film Commission will receive 1 extra point during the evaluation process.

The program is designed to showcase and preserve São Paulo’s historical, natural, and architectural heritage, while boosting the local creative economy and encouraging film production outside the state’s traditional hubs.
