More than 20 partner cities and 30 production companies participated in the first Road Show of the São Paulo State Film Commission, an initiative of the Department of Culture, Creative Economy and Industries in partnership with the Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo (MIS), aimed at promoting destinations and opportunities for São Paulo’s audiovisual sector.
Throughout the event, the municipalities presented their key assets for hosting film productions, while production companies explored locations, infrastructure, and conditions offered by cities in the interior and coastal regions, in a direct exchange between public administrators and the audiovisual market.
The event was attended by the Executive Secretary of the Department of Culture, Creative Economy and Industries, Marcelo Assis, and took place at a strategic moment for the sector, with the opening of ProAC Call No. 01/2026, which provides additional scoring points for productions that carry out at least 70% of their filming in cities belonging to the São Paulo State Film Commission.
The initiative strengthens coordination between municipalities and the audiovisual sector, increasing the visibility of filming locations across the state and reinforcing the network of destinations prepared to host productions.
